SELF PRIMING PUMP “MAGNUS”

A high flow, self-priming pump with a large pre-filter, which together with an excellent hydraulic performance, delivers a very large filtration system. The ‘Magnus’ swimming pool pump
is extremely quiet and is available with 2 and 4 pole motors with speeds of up to 2,850 RPM.

Technical features

Clear polycarbonate lid with four-pin locking system for
easy access and viewing of the pre-filter basket
Flanged connections & a broad base makes this system very robust.(Counter flanges are not supplied as standard but available on request)
Turbine available in noryl or marine bronze – Available on request
Pump and pre-filter bodies, volute, counter volute and cover in polypropylene reinforced with fibreglass
Excellent chemical resistance
Large polythene pre-filter to prevent debris from
damaging the pump
Noryl impeller (Bronze impeller on 2 pole models)
Mechanical seal in ceramic carbon and AISI 316 stainless steel
(Sea water compatible)
AISI 316 Stainless steel shaft and screws
Enclosed IE3 asynchronous motor with external ventilation
Motor bearings greased to ensure long life and silent operation
Working frequency: 50Hz and 60Hz on demand
Maximum water temperature: 50° C
Maximum ambient temperature: +40° C
Motor: 1450 RPM @ 50Hz (Models 250 to 1000), 2850 RPM @ 60Hz
(Models 1250 and 1500)
